New Theme : WhosWho

I finished a new theme today. I have been meaning to make a “magazine” or “news style” theme for a while, and this is my first crack at it. This theme comes with many of the features of InterPhase, and shares a similar layout. I have added, however, a featured article section on the homepage, as well as a more visible RSS/Feedburner section. There is also a nifty jquery slider that displays random posts via thumbnails.

One of your best themes yet! The best $19.95 i have spent in a long time.

  3. Tom says:

All recent themes lack the “active page” or “active category” feature. Why not make it a default feature?

Great theme! Keep up the good work, best 20 bucks ever spent!

These are some awesome themes, at present Im tossing up with whether to recreate my static website using either Joomla or WordPress and your themes might just tip the scales to WordPress as they are such a great price. Certainly very elegant indeed.

    Cheers from down under.

Nice theme. Put it up for display here: http://wordpress.start-1.info/wordpress-som-cms-del-2-betalte-magasin-temaer and the rest of your themes here: http://wordpress.start-1.info/premium-blogg-temaer

Love your themes and use it on my personal site http://asphaug.net

  8. I love the look of this theme. However, documentation on how to implement some of the theme is missing. For example, how are you getting the images to populate for the recent posts and the post article? I am also having difficulty getting the Featured Article to work, even though I have created that category and posted to it.
    Please help.

    Hi,

just let me ask you 1 question. I really enjoy your themes, but I noticed, that you use the jquery-plugin for slideshow and other sliding effects. But when I use another plugin which uses wordpress integrated prototype or scriptacolous effect library the effects of jquery break and want work. I noticed this behaviour especcialy on the ARTSEE theme.
Any chance that you can avoid use of jquery and use prototype instead?

    Thanks
    Hans

    Ed,

Each theme comes with a readme file that explains how to add the thumbnails. There are three sections, one about recent posts, one about featured posts, and one about random posts. You can view the online version here:

As for the featured articles not showing up, make sure you only capitalize the first letter in each word, and that there are not extra white spaces after Articles.

Using this theme at pkpolitics.com, people love it.

Thanks for such a quality theme :)

  14. Peter says:

Just a personal opinion but it be nice to have the post title show when a user hovers over the random posts.

Hi – Also need to chime in here on this great site – the themes are great!!

I also had the same issue about the Featured Article not showing in the top section. I checked that my category name is exactly “Featured Articles” and the slug name had to be exactly
    “featured-articles”… that solved it.

Looks great bartosz, I like the colors you have chosen.

  18. Jami says:

I’m having a heck of a time modifying the top red bar in this theme. Can you point me in the right direction of changing the color?

    Thanks!

P.S. Really great theme you have here!

  19. admin says:

Sure, can you clarify what you mean by “red bar?”

  20. Jami says:

Sure. It’s the header bar that contains the category name. And my apologies for saying it’s red. It’s actually blue. Damn color blindness!

  21. Jami says:

I see now that the blue header is associated with the image file categories-bg.gif

  22. John says:

which size ad can i add to the theme ? Like 300 by 250 or 160 by 600 thanks.

  23. Fansi says:

The thumbnail on my featured article won’t show up, what’s the matter? The article is already there, only the picture is missing. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Hi, i love your theme, the $20 was really worth it. I just started using it and followed everything in your support. I have the thumbnails showing up in the individual posts but they aren’t showing up in the random posts or in the feature articles. Am I doing something wrong? Can you please help me?
    Thanks so much!

    hi,
Is there a way to remove the category ‘featured article” from showing up in the list of categories along the top bar?
