Some of our meetups are having multiple events per month! While we miss seeing your faces IRL, what a wonderful gift technology has been for such a time as this.
Check out the monthly happenings of some of our communities below!
Divi Auckland, New Zealand
From the Host, Robert Robertson:
We had 6 people on our Auckland Divi meetup via Zoom with the numbers still lower than meeting in person. But we had one person from Singapore join us which was a nice aspect of Zoom. …We covered Cartflows and did a demo of their free and pro Divi landing page templates plus showed them a real site.
Divi Auckland keeps it coming with content. Check them out!
Divi Brampton, Ontario, Canada
From the Host, Christina Gwira:
On July 30, 2020 the Divi Brampton Meetup was born! We had our first session via Zoom due to the current COVID-19 situation in Canada, however, we had some guests from the USA in attendance as well which is always fun! We had a blast and for this session, we focused on the basics. We took a deep dive into the different ways in which members use the Divi builder: some prefer the wireframe view, most enjoyed using the visual builder on the frontend with the new layers feature enabled. What really warmed me up about this session was that we had members of the LGBTQAI2+ community in attendance as well. It has always been my goal with the meetups that I host to ensure that they are diverse, inclusive and a safe space for all. I think we are on the right track!
Divi Brampton just had their first meetup and they’re so pumped for the next! Get on that energy, too!
Divi Cape Town in South Africa
From the Host, Dirk Tolken:

Our first meetup was an encore presentation by Scott Winterroth showing us WooCommerce and Divi integration and using the styling options for product pages. The second Meetup was presented by Joan Margau; How to use the many built-in help features inside the Divi Theme. We always learn more about Divi at every Meetup as questions and contributions are welcome. Our next meetup will be presented by Peter Wilkinson the developer of the Divi Machine plugin featured recently on [the] Elegant Themes blog. Check out Divi-Chicago Meetup.com for details.

Divi DC, USA
From the Host, John Browning:
We had our first Divi DC Meetup on July 29, titled: Sharing Our Divi Experience.
Some folks were Divi WordPress experts, and some were just starting to learn how to Divi for posting pages and articles to their website.
We covered a lot of WordPress topics and now have our Meetup schedule for the rest of the year, which was our main goal for the meeting. We also have volunteer presenters for these topics.
We ended the session with a member sharing a website he created and giving him some congrats as well as critique.
So our first official Divi DC meeting was very productive and fun!
Quote from member:
“Thank you for a very interesting discussion. As a complete non-developer, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But you all went out of your way to be sure I had opportunities to contribute. And I learned quite a lot that I will be able to implement before we meet again. Thank you for making me feel very welcomed and part of the group!”
Divi DC just started but has been long in the making! Give the group a peek!
Divi Douala, Cameroon
From the Host, Francis Fokwa:
A bientôt !
Come on out and be apart of the magic in Cameroon! Divi Douala would love your presence!

Divi Seattle, Washington, USA
From the Hosts, Bradon Garley & Shane Griffiths:
This month the Divi Seattle community got a crash course on integrating Divi with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF). We reviewed how to install the plugin and set up field groups on different posts, pages, and custom post types. We went over several real-world examples of ACF + Divi in action. This integration is perfect for making websites that are super easy for clients to update. It’s also very powerful for templating pages and custom post types, which can be integrated with the theme builder. Overall the demonstration was well-received and our (growing) community is excited to use it in production websites.
Divi Seattle is lively! See for yourselves!
Divi Tampa, Florida, USA
From the Host, Steve Willingham:
The Divi-Tampa July Virtual Exchange of Divi Know-how (or Want-to-know-how) was held on Thursday, July 16 at 2 PM. Five Meetup members signed up to attend, and three actually attended. Then another member showed up late after the official meetup was over, but I was happy to stay online and we had a very nice chat. What makes our group special? We’re so often geographically spread. Attendees were from the Tampa area and Mexico! Interestingly the home base of our attendee that was in Mexico is actually Orlando. We presented the latest video from Nick describing the new Divi Presets feature and discussed its potential applications in our own sites. The mutually agreed impression… “The new Divi Presets feature is awesome.” We also helped our newest Divi user with the subject of website security and exchanged recommendations for SEO plugins. Overall, we had a very nice Divi meetup and all were looking forward to the next one in August!
Have you checked Divi Tampa out??? Get on that.
Divi Toulouse, France
From the Host, Fifa Randrianasolo:
Lors de ce Meetup, nous avons vu comment WooCommerce et Divi fonctionnent ensemble.
Nous avons appris à personnaliser facilement et rapidement une boutique grâce à l’éditeur Divi et le Theme Builder, tous deux parfaitement intégrés avec WooCommerce.
Nous avons vu également quelques plugins intégrables à WooCommerce afin de pousser la personnalisation d’une boutique.
Nous avons passé un super moment de partage et en attendant la prochaine, bel été à tous !
What a wonderful community Divi Toulouse has! Check them out!
