Today, we are releasing the first of two batches of WooCommerce modules for Divi 5.

This first and more significant batch includes 17 of Divi’s 25 Woo modules, covering all the modules you need to build custom product and category pages.

We’ll finish the remaining cart and checkout modules over the next couple of weeks and launch the Public Beta shortly after. Everyone is itching to get their hands on these modules, so we are releasing what’s ready.

Check out the following video to see the new feature in action. 👇

Woo Product Modules

If you have been using Divi 5 with WooCommerce, you’ll know that all of Divi’s Woo modules are already available for use in backward compatibility mode and can be found in the Woo folder when adding new modules to a page.

With today’s update, you’ll find that most of these modules no longer have the legacy label and will no longer run in backward compatibility mode. The native Divi 5 versions of these modules are faster and easier to use.

These modules include:

  • Breadcrumbs – Displays a navigational breadcrumb trail to help users understand their location within the store.
  • Notice – Shows WooCommerce system messages such as cart updates, errors, or confirmations.
  • Add To Cart – Renders an “Add to Cart” button for the current product with optional quantity controls.
  • Products – Displays a customizable grid of WooCommerce products.
  • Related Products – Shows products related to the current item based on WooCommerce’s related products settings.
  • Product Description – Outputs the main long-form description for the current product.
  • Product Gallery – Displays the gallery of additional product images in either grid or slider format.
  • Product Images – Shows the main featured product image, with optional zoom or lightbox effects.
  • Product Information – Displays the “additional information” for a product.
  • Product Meta – Outputs product metadata such as categories.
  • Product Price – Displays the current product price.
  • Product Rating – Shows the average star rating and number of reviews for the current product.
  • Product Reviews – Displays a list of customer reviews with an option to add new ones.
  • Product Stock – Shows stock availability messages such as “In stock” or “Out of stock.”
  • Product Tabs – Displays WooCommerce’s default product tab layout for description, additional information, and reviews.
  • Product Title – Outputs the current product’s name as a heading.
  • Product Upsell – Shows upsell products to encourage higher-value purchases.

That’s a lot of modules, and only a few remain!

Woo Product List Module

The Woo Product module can create lists of products and custom product category pages.

To get even more creative, you can use Divi’s new Loop Builder to query WooCommerce products and build product loops of any type and style, breaking free from the Woo Product module’s static structure.

Build your loop template, enabling looping, query the product post type, and plug dynamic product data into the loop.

Woo Product Page Modules

The rest of Divi’s Woo modules can create custom product pages. They provide every building block and can be fully customized using Divi’s wide range of design settings. You have complete creative freedom to break free of standard WooCommerce product templates.

When it comes to increasing sales, there’s nothing more important than a stunning and compelling product page!

Try Divi 5 Today

Woo product modules are available for Divi 5 today and are one of many features coming to Divi this year.

You can follow along as we progress through the final release of Divi 5 and beyond, with updates every two weeks. Depending on your priorities, you can use Divi 5 now to build new websites or wait until we add more features, whatever works best for you.

As outlined in Divi 5’s original multi-phase release schedule, the Divi 5 Public Alpha is like “Divi 5 Lite.” It’s missing a few features and may not be suitable for existing websites, but it’s ready to be used on new websites if you prefer the experience to Divi 4.

We want you to try it, and if you love it, use it; when everyone loves it, we’ll make it official.

Have You Tried The Group Carousel Module?

In case you missed it, we recently released three new modules for Divi 5, including the much-requested Group Carousel module. This module allows you to create any type of carousel or slider, including post-based carousels, using Divi 5’s new loop builder. We also added a Lottie module for easy JSON-based animations and an Icon List module for easy list creation.

  1. Where is the Short form description ?
That always been a problem on my side.

Is there something about the added details like color, size, etc… is there e render for that block ?

    • The Woo Product Description module displays the short form description.

The Woo Product Information module displays product attributes.

These are available in Divi 4 and now in Divi 5.

  2. Will there be an add to cart button for the products module?

  3. Hey ! Thanks for the news!

Do you plan to add a filter module linked to the product list module?
I think this is really a big gap, and it requires using external plugins.

    • Hey, Simon! There are currently no plans to include native filtering capabilities to the Woo Products Module, but it’s worth reminding it is fully compatible most third-party ones, of which many are free and work great in cojuction with the Woo Products Module. 😊

  4. In the video, I heard that the other Woo Modules will be released in the next couple of weeks. Is that still the case? Next question: If developers have been using the Legacy Modules in Divi 5, what happens to the those sites once the Legacy Modules no longer exist? Are these modules automatically updated to the new Divi 5 WC Modules?

  5. Will there be a working filter system for the shop page/category pages? That’s my current biggest gripe for building e-commerce on divi and the fact that other plugins don’t play well with template builder pages when filtering. So I have to use a non-divi theme when making a e-commerce store with many products that requires a good filtering system.

  6. I have recently built 2 sites with Divi 5 and WooCommerce. For some reason when creating product category pages with the woo modules the design of the page is messed up. Particularly the header and footer. Is there any explaination and report of this happening and a possible solution? If these pages cant be built then its pointless using Divi 5 for shops yet is it not?

    • Hey, Simon! Make sure you are updated to the latest Divi 5 alpha build (5.0.0-public-alpha.23, at this time) as it includes important fixes. If the issue with your product category pages’ header and footer persists, please reach out to our support team for a closer inspection here: https://www.elegantthemes.com/members-area/help/
