Here is a little preview of a theme we have in the works. It’s called SimplePress, and will feature a clean and simple page-based design for those looking to give their website a crisp new look. My goal with this theme was to create something similar to Minimal, but with a sharper and more focused appearance. Be sure to leave a comment letting us know what you think!

Great theme Nick. Wondered about the possibility of mixing pages/posts in the top navigation? Is something like that possible with a theme like this?
You can do anything you want with the WordPress 3.0 menu system
The new menu system in 3.0 was really a game-changer. WordPress is really evolving into THE content management/blogging system.

I haven’t decided on the colorschemes yet, but you can expect something similar to our other themes.
i hope we’ll start seeing more than 10 colorschemes just like the themes on themeforest.net (specially orange color)
Yes. 10 colour schemes would make our lifes easier. But anyways, I wouldn’t cancel my subscription if it was only that one scheme
Only thing I am missing on your themes is a place to put icons for different language versions. If that was available (in header area for example), it would be just PERFECT.

Beautiful. Is there a chance you could make the little popup info tabs on the home page a bit transparent? That’d make it easier to understand what’s happening in the main image. Does that make sense? Beautiful stuff though!

What I’d also really like to see sometime soon is a theme that *doesn’t* have a big slider image in the top-center, yet is still a simple and striking business theme – now there’s a challenge

That´s on my wish list as well. A news theme similar to GrungeMag with smaler slider, images and fonts. Together with an embedded videoplayer as well as fully xhtml/css validated and the normal great design of Nick, it would be a striking hit.

I wish I knew how you get such a gloriously CRISP finish and feel to your designs. It’s awesome! I wish I knew more about your design process. Do you do all the coding yourself? Do you go from PSD to XHTML? More CSS styling than anything else??

I design all of the themes, but only do some of the coding at this point. We have two great developer’s that assist me in the coding process. It’s collaboration that allows us to roll out 2-4 themes each month!

Looks like the navigation menu is really crammed together. Will there be drop-down menus I hope?
Of course, all of our themes come with dropdown menus.

Just in my honest opinion, the post excerpt/highlight box is a bit too large. It’s blocking those beautiful post highlight pictures. Maybe a lower opacity would help?
I love the features area which allow us to showcase our portfolios or highlight our services and features. Is there an option (or shortcode) for us to have the ability to further customize that area? (e.g. making a 2nd row or adding more columns)
A widgetized area (maybe 3 or 4 columns) for the footer would be perfect. Users can add some common widgets (e.g. latest blog post, comments, twitter streams, tag cloud or anything) here.

Hm, I think you should consider using black (or dark) background in some themes, it is stylish and elegant color too.. Maybe as a additional style.

I just want to say that I one of your Minimal WordPress theme big fan.
I also love to have another theme that look a like it, and advanced with a sharper and more focused appearance in the details.
I’m sure there are lots that I need to tweaks to suit my needs, but the rest is okay.

Great theme once again. I have bought your theme membership only a couple of weeks ago and I must say all your themes are really great. This new one is also looking great from the preview.
But I have a few requests/ideas for the future themes. Could you please develop some themes which can be used in normal websites. Most of your recent themes are portfolio, company etc. type and not for normal bloggers. Could you please create a few nice themes for normal bloggers with a more simple yet attractive interface. I would highly appreciate if you could build a couple of white minimalistic yet attractive theme for bloggers in the future. I would also appreciate if you could keep a 460*60 or a 768*90 advertisement place beside the website logo in some of your themes.
One more idea. I see that you have no real estate themes till now. If possible you could also create a theme like agentpress as that is quite unique.

Nick will it have the option to create it as a simple blog style like you have in some of the themes. This theme would be brilliant for a normal blog too if that would be available.

How can the thumbnail images be reordered?
I use this theme for my blog and love it. The only problem I am having is that the width of the blog area (where posts go in a page) is too narrow for a flipping book plugin I am using for a portfolio. It gets cut off. Can anyone help me with this. I have tried everything and it seems stupid that all I need to do is widen the area so that the flipping book does not get cut off. Thanks!
