Another Divi Community staple is preparing for the next chapter. DiviFlash has been a cornerstone extension for Divi users who need more than the native modules can offer, and their team has been working diligently on Divi 5 compatibility.

Divi 5 is an architectural overhaul of the builder, and third-party developers face the substantial and necessary task of rebuilding their extensions from the ground up. DiviFlash has embraced this challenge head-on. Their public roadmap shows the Divi 5 module rebuild is complete, and their Public Beta is available now. We love to see it!

What Does DiviFlash Include?

DiviFlash bundles over 65 modules, 15+ extensions, 50+ full website layouts, and 800+ section layouts into a single plugin.

The plugin addresses several module types that haven’t traditionally been covered: form plugin styling, social media feeds, sophisticated navigation systems, CPT galleries, and WooCommerce enhancements. Each module follows Divi’s familiar three-tab interface (Content, Design, Advanced), making the learning curve virtually nonexistent for existing Divi users.

DiviFlash simplifies collaboration with popular plugins like WooCommerce, Contact Form 7, and WPForms, and supports dynamic content from ACF, Pods, and Toolset. It has something for everyone, which is why it is so popular.

Divi 5 Conversion Status

DiviFlash has fully committed to Divi 5 compatibility with a transparent roadmap available on their website. The team has rebuilt their modules using Divi 5’s new React-based framework, ensuring full Visual Builder compatibility where changes render in real-time without requiring page previews.

Current license holders will receive the Divi 5 upgrade at no additional cost. The team has made Alpha and Beta builds available through their members-only community, where users can test converted modules and provide feedback during the development phase.

Module Showcase

DiviFlash adds several new features that Divi’s native modules have never had before. Below are five modules that demonstrate why this extension has earned trust from over 100,000 websites.

1. Form Styler Modules

Divi’s native Contact Form Module handles basic form creation, but styling third-party form plugins within Divi layouts has historically required custom CSS or using the styling option from the form plugin of choice. DiviFlash adds a dedicated styler for three of the most popular WordPress form plugins: WPForms, Contact Form 7, and Gravity Forms. Enable the FormStyler that you need and disable the others.

Enable FormStyler for Particular Fom Plugin You Use

The time savings of this feature are incredible. Especially if you are used to editing with Divi’s Settings Panel, this is a great way to truly customize a form.

You can customize label typography, input field backgrounds, checkbox and radio button styling, dropdown menus, and submit button design! It really couldn’t be any easier.

2. Social Feed Modules

Social media integration is definitely a nice-to-have for many websites. They tend to be great for social proof and connecting people with a brand across multiple platforms. The d Facebook and Instagram Feed modules embed your favorite social media page feeds with extensive visual options.

The Facebook Feed module is new to the Divi 5 version, but Divi 4 users might remember the Instagram Feed module well. They both display posts based on enabled filter settings. You also control every design choice, like showing or hiding the page header, cover photo, and call-to-action button. Adjust the feed width and height to fit your layout, set the alignment, and enable lazy loading for improved performance.

3. Advanced Menu Module

Many people have expressed interest in an improved menu experience for Divi. While we work on it, others have brought their own ingenuity to bear on this problem, including DiviFlash.

DiviFlash’s Advanced Menu module functions as a complete header solution rather than just a navigation element. The module consists of two interdependent parts: a menu editor dashboard in WordPress admin and the builder module itself. Changes made in the menu editor affect only the DiviFlash Advanced Menu, leaving your WordPress menus untouched for other uses.

The module supports eight different child item types that can be combined to create sophisticated headers: logo, menu, button, icon, search, custom content, and more. You can integrate entire Divi layouts into dropdown submenus, create dynamic submenus that automatically pull content, and configure mobile slide menus with custom buttons and icons.

Although the Advanced Menu Module has some quirks (like the positioning of child elements), it is definitely beginner-friendly and easy to use.

4. Custom Post Type Modules

DiviFlash includes comprehensive support for CPT (Custom Post Type). The CPT Grid and Filterable CPT modules display custom post types in grid or masonry layouts with taxonomy filtering and ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) integration.

For sites using Custom Post Types, DiviFlash modules can pull and display custom field data directly within the layout. The ACF Gallery module specifically creates masonry or grid galleries from ACF gallery fields. In total, there are six dynamic content/CPT Modules included in DiviFlash. And again, these are all working inside of Divi 5.

5. Advanced Video Module

Divi includes a basic video module, but this module offers even more features, including custom thumbnails, overlay effects, lightbox viewing, and sticky playback — features that require workarounds or additional plugins. DiviFlash’s Advanced Video module consolidates these features into a single solution.

Upload custom video thumbnails rather than relying on auto-generated previews. Add overlay effects with custom play icons that match your design. Enable lightbox viewing for full-screen playback without leaving the page, or configure sticky playback that keeps the video visible as users scroll.

Advanced controls include autoplay settings, mute options, loop configurations, and custom start times. The module supports both self-hosted videos and external sources, giving you complete control over video presentation within your Divi layouts.

Extensions That Expand Divi’s Capabilities

Beyond modules, DiviFlash includes over 15 extensions that modify the functionality of Divi and WordPress at a deeper level.

Library Shortcodes

The Divi Shortcode extension allows you to embed any Divi layout from the Divi Library inside another module’s content area.

Diviflash Library Shortcode Insertion

This opens up design possibilities that Divi’s structure otherwise prevents, such as placing a blurb inside a testimonial module or nesting complex layouts within tab content.

Dynamic Data Support

The ACF integration extension connects Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and Meta Box field data to DiviFlash Gallery and Carousel modules.

Dynamic Data Additional Support for Images in Grid or Carousel view

Rather than building custom templates or using shortcodes, you can pull dynamic data directly into these module settings.

Contact Form Database

Submissions through Divi’s native contact form module typically go only to an email address.

The Contact Form Database extension stores submissions in your local WordPress database, creating a record you can access without relying on email delivery.

Join The Divi Comeback

Divi never left, but we did spend 2+ years building Divi 5 from the ground up. During that time, this amazing community remained loyal to Divi, knowing it would be worth the wait. We developed a new feature every 10 days, included a backward compatibility system, and are continuing to optimize Divi 5 before its official launch.

Now, Divi 5 is in Public Beta, and you’ll see more improvements and more third-party developers building on the D5 framework. If you haven’t made the jump yet, now is the perfect time. There’s a lot to explore.
