Meet Divi Assistant by Pee‑Aye Creative. This third-party plugin adds over 130 tools for accessibility, styling, UI upgrades, and dozens of user‑requested features to enhance your Divi workflow. Shaped by real user feedback, chances are the feature you’ve been wishing for is already included.
Divi Assistant is available for Divi 4, but it’s also in their beta testing stage with Divi 5. In this post, we’ll walk you through some of their features and their progress.
What Is Divi Assistant?
Divi Assistant is a Divi Marketplace product. It streamlines your Divi workflow by addressing common pain points. Instead of installing multiple plugins for small tasks, you get everything in one place.
For instance, you can export full site settings, customize your WordPress and Divi dashboards, auto-generate alt text for images, set global heading styles, and even pin your favorite modules for quick access in just a few clicks.
It’s priced at $69 per year with unlimited site usage and is a great add-on for freelancers and agencies who want to build faster and keep things consistent across projects. You can even try a live demo to explore the features before buying.
Divi Assistant Is Fully Compatible With Divi 5
Divi Assistant is available for beta testing in Divi 5. This updated version is designed exclusively for Divi 5 and does not work with Divi 4. The decision to focus only on Divi 5 is intentional, as Pee‑Aye Creative invites users to test the new build and contribute feedback during development.
The plugin has been rebuilt from the ground up to align with Divi 5’s architecture, interface, and styling system. If you’re starting a new project or planning a migration, this version of Divi Assistant is ready to support your workflow.
Since Divi 5 is still under active development, a few features that depend on core builder functions are being finalized in phases. That said, most of Divi Assistant’s tools are already stable and functioning well within Divi 5. Users are encouraged to try them out, explore what’s available, and report any issues. This will help ensure a smooth, fully optimized experience once Divi 5 is publicly released.
Pee‑Aye Creative has confirmed that all their plugins, including Divi Assistant, will be fully rebuilt and ready when Divi 5 launches. You can expect the same performance, reliability, and support the team is known for. To stay informed, check out their Divi 5 Compatibility Guide for ongoing updates and detailed documentation. It has a Submit A Bug Report where you can share errors if you encounter any.
Key Features We Think You’ll Find Most Useful
With over 130 tools included, covering every feature would be an overkill for this post. So, instead of listing everything, we’ve handpicked a few best ones that we think will matter most to everyday Divi users, whether you’re building for yourself or clients.
1. Accessibility Helper Helps You Meet Web Standards
The Accessibility Helper tab in Divi Assistant is one of the most valuable sections, especially with the EU Accessibility Act enforced. While it’s not a complete accessibility solution, it offers many features that can significantly improve usability for all visitors.
For example, you can enable the Add Keyboard Navigation Outlines To Focused Elements to highlight the selected option so users who rely on keyboards can easily track their position on screen. You can even choose the outline color to match your site design.
When enabled, keyboard users can easily find the highlighted element:
It also lets you add ARIA labels to Divi modules and automatically apply aria-hidden=”true” to decorative elements like icons to improve screen reader compatibility. Practical settings like Pinch and Zoom support for mobile users and many more are also available. So, if you want to make your Divi site more inclusive without installing another plugin, this tab is a great place to start.
2. Styles Helper To Manage Global Styles More Efficiently
The Styles Helper tab allows you to manage global design elements across your Divi site in one place. Instead of adjusting headings, link text, and colors module by module, you can define all those settings in one centralized dashboard.
- Global Color Manager: Create and manage your site’s global color palette. You can reorder how colors appear in the Visual Builder, delete unused ones, and add admin labels for personal reference.
- Heading Text: Set consistent global styles for all heading levels to ensure a clear visual hierarchy across your site.
- Body Text: Define the default styling for paragraph text across your site, so new sections require fewer edits.
- Link Text: Customize how links appear by adjusting the color, weight, and style.
- Similarly, you can save default styles for Bullet Lists and Number Lists.
The changes appear in real time. To show you how it works, we’ve customized my Heading H1 Text Styles for desktop, tablet, and mobile. After saving the settings, the new Heading module will inherit the saved styles.
The same logic applies to all elements in this tab. Once you define your global styles for them, the new elements will inherit your saved styles automatically, much like Divi’s default preset styling system.
Tip: Once you have these settings configured, you can also export your Divi Assistant settings and import them into other sites.
The plugin also lets you select settings based on what you need, which makes it a huge time-saver for freelancers and agencies that work on multiple websites to build base prototypes quickly.
3. Customize WordPress & Divi Dashboards To Fit Your Workflow
Divi Assistant gives you full control over how your WordPress, Divi, and Visual Builder dashboards behave. Using this, you can personalize your and your clients’ experiences.
Visual Builder Helper
The Visual Builder Helper tab is full of smart tweaks to clean up the Divi interface. For instance, you can hide all Divi upsells to keep things client-friendly, remove the Quick Sites option if you don’t use it, and even hide the entire Divi dashboard or the pre-made layouts tab. It helps create a cleaner, more focused workspace.
Utility Helper
The Utility Helper tab gives you handy tools to customize the WordPress dashboard. You can build your own Quick Links menu to access important pages faster, hide admin menu items you don’t need, and turn off update or version notices if you like to handle them yourself.
These were some of the helpful Divi Assistant features. While we focused on the most impactful ones, there are clearly many we missed. The plugin has many more helpful tools for managing fonts, tweaking front-end display, adjusting media settings, adding code snippets, and more.

You can learn about all these features in detail on the plugin’s landing page.
We also recently analyzed the full feature list; here’s the post if you’d like to learn more. Also, check the full breakdown on the Divi Assistant listing in the Elegant Themes Marketplace.
How To Install And Use Divi Assistant
As we touched on earlier, Divi Assistant is ready for Divi 5. Everything’s been carefully updated and integrated so you can install it on your Divi 5 websites.
Installing Divi Assistant
After purchasing the plugin from the Divi Marketplace, you’ll have its zip file. To install, go to WordPress > Plugins > Add Plugin > Upload Plugin.
Now, upload the plugin’s zip file from your computer. Install it.
Activate it.
You’ll now be able to access Divi Assistant in your WordPress dashboard.
Divi Assistant Dashboard Walkthrough
Even though Divi Assistant includes over a hundred features, it’s surprisingly easy to navigate. To help you get a feel for the interface, we’ve put together this quick walkthrough of its three main sections.
- (1) Top Panel Controls: Includes several handy tools that are easy to miss but can improve your workflow. You’ll find quick-access icons to search for tools by name, expand or collapse all tabs, reset plugin settings to default, and log out. It also displays the current plugin version, which is helpful when reporting issues or checking for updates. Check Support Helper to get all the info about your site. You can share it with your support faster while troubleshooting.
- (2) Sidebar Tabs Panel: The left sidebar is organized into helper tabs, each grouping similar types of tools together. For example, the Dashboard tab shows recent plugin updates, announcements, and new blogs published by Elegant Themes, while the Code Helper contains all code-related tools in one place. Each tab expands into different options, so you might want to explore them all.
- (3) Central Feed Area: Displays settings and tools for whichever tab you select. It updates dynamically, so you’re only shown what’s relevant.
Using Divi Assistant Inside Divi 5
Divi Assistant is easy to use and works well with the new Divi 5 interface. All tools are neatly organized into tabs and grouped by function, so there’s no learning curve. You can enable features with a simple toggle, and most settings apply instantly without reloading.
For example, let’s say you want to enable jQuery support in Divi Builder. To do so, you’ll toggle on the Show jQuery Tab in Code Helper tab and Save Changes.
You can now notice the new code icon on the left sidebar inside Divi Builder. Paste your jQuery here, and it will automatically sync with the <head> code box inside Divi Theme Options > Integrations.
Just like this, you can toggle on/off other cool features. We encourage you to play around with the helper tabs and discover the best feature set that fits your workflow. To get you started, here are a few helpful tips when using Divi Assistant inside Divi 5:
- Use the Search Bar at the top to instantly find any feature by keyword. It’ll save you time.
- Collapse or Expand All Tabs with one click to focus on a specific area, like accessibility or custom styles.
- Most settings don’t require saving. Toggles and dropdowns apply changes in real time as soon as you interact with them. But it might be a good idea to always save changes.
- Divi Assistant works seamlessly with Divi 5’s dark mode interface, helping reduce eye strain during long work sessions. (Did you notice the above example?)
Work Smarter In Divi 5 With Divi Assistant
Divi Assistant doesn’t just work with Divi 5. It works seamlessly. Its features have been refined for the new builder, making it feel like a natural extension of the Divi experience rather than a third-party add-on.
Buy it from the Divi Marketplace, and you’ll get unlimited site usage, ongoing updates, and reliable support, giving you peace of mind about long-term compatibility. For $69 a year, it’s a smart investment. If you’re ready to speed up your Divi builds and sharpen your toolkit, this plugin delivers exactly what it promises.
As Divi 5 evolves, your feedback plays an important role in shaping the final release. By testing the plugin and reporting what you find, you’re helping refine one of the most powerful productivity tools available for Divi.
