I started teaching myself web design and worpress a few years ago and came across Elegant Themes. I thought their designs were cool, but I didn't have enough css knowledge to tweak them how I wanted, so I didn't use them much. I kept trying their themes, but would go back to Headway because I knew it pretty well and they had good support. I have also purchased individual themes and tried many others.
What I have discovered over the past 2 years is that there is no theme support out there as good as Elegant Themes. I see the same posts over and over and don't know how these guys don't pull their hair out in frustration. Not everything has already been answered, but if you search the forum you can usually find what you need to do whatever you want with your theme. And if you don't find it, they will tell you exactly what you need to do. Try getting this personalized service with ANY other theme support - it's not there.
Take a little responsibility and read the documentation first - then search the forums - and then ask for help - you will get it.
You can spend $39 on an individual theme easily and you will never find the quality of support you find on Elegant Themes. They don't just help you, they help you learn.
