I have learning web design over the past few years and came across Elegant Themes about 2 years ago. The themes are really pretty and fairly easy to use (once you listen to their instructions), and they have a decent variety of layouts.
I kept leaving them because I was hooked on an aspect of another theme where you can specifically pull certain category posts onto a specific page. I asked about this, but it wasn't possible.
Well...I'm working on a new website (
http://pipronet.com) and just created my first blog page and waalaa... there it is... an option to pull a specific category into that page. THANK YOU, THANK YOU
I would also like to say that even though you might need to be patient or actually read through previous posts, they are very good at giving you specific help on css or code to fix your site the way you want.
My only suggestion at this point would be a CSS map of sorts on the commonly requested alterations (i.e. deleting shadows, changing font color, etc.)
I'm glad I just renewed for my 3rd year.
