I did a lot of research into who to use as a platform for my new website and Elegant Themes came out top in a lot of categories.
Having no programming background it was still a case of 'try it and see' but I'm so glad I did.
The themes are superb, so easy to create, but the thing that has been outstanding in my opinion is the forum support. The mods are quick to help and great to deal with.
