Hi guys
I just wanted to write and thank you for providing such a fabulous range of WP themes.
I was a complete newbie using Wordpress when I started my business almost a year ago. I’d previously spent 15 years developing large scale corporate websites (starting back in the day when the internet was an infant!!), and managing software development projects, including a custom designed CMS. I had to essentially start over, and as well as learning WordPress, I had to decide whether or not I wanted to develop templates as well ... or find a library of themes that would work for my clients.
A lot of research later, Elegant Themes seemed to be a logical choice - a great range at a fantastic price! I especially liked that I didn’t need to sign up for an ongoing subscription, that the forums were active, ie I could find an answer or ask!
I’ve been using Elegant Themes almost exclusively for about 18 months now. I know I can use them ‘out of the box’ but 99% of the time, I customise them and now consider myself an expert! As a designer, the clean style suits my style, and as an accidental developer, I really appreciate the ease with which I can modify theme files. Sometimes the end result looks quite different from the ‘standard‘ install, but I choose themes based on client requirements for functionality, not just how they look!
I have used other themes because of specific client requirements, and have been sadly let down and one case, the developer disappeared, so I’ll be changing that site’s theme to one of yours!
I’ve used all of the plugins; and of the themes, I’ve used more than 20 including Nimble (for my own site, but I’m about to update it am intending to use the Foxy theme), Explorable, StyleShop, Fusion, Origin, Lucid, Flexible, Trim (several times), Gleam, Evolution, eList, Sky, Chameleon, MyCuisine, Envisioned, Webly, Modest, InStyle, Nova, DeepFocus, eStore, BusinessCard, Lumin, and eNews.
Clients are happy, I'm happy!!
Love your work!
Regards,
Ellen K
