I deeply appreciate the persistence of the Elegant Themes' support personnel in helping me figure out why my new website wouldn't show product links pointing to a third party storefront.
It turns out my website had a plugin designed, when activated, to remove the http: and https: portions of linking code. (I can't figure out why anyone would want such a feature, but there it is anyhow.) I hadn't even noticed the plugin, let alone activated it.
That discovery only came after 2 weeks of sporadic (on my part) back and forth with an Elegant Themes' support agent as he asked ongoing clarifying questions and gave me "homework" to do and report back. He finally asked permission to access my website's control panel, which is when he spotted the plugin.
I am genuinely impressed with the fact that I kept the same support person throughout the exercise, that he was so responsive - especially given my inexperience building websites - and always knew where we were in the process - something lacking and frustrating when working with sites where tech support varies from encounter to encounter.
Thank you Elegant Themes! You clearly put customer service front and center.
