Being a web designer I have quite some experience with coding (but I'm rather a designer than a developer) and I use the Divi theme quite bit. But in this case I was out of my depth and wasn't sure how to solve the clients idea. But the support helped me a lot and I was then able to solve the bit that remained to be done.
