21 July, 2015: Unfortunately, I have to update this response. An agent was helping me to customize a function and we had it all set and then right afterward I saw another message from him saying "oops, I changed a line of code and broke the site". I sent him the credentials so that he could fix it and made a mistake and after resending them I stopped hearing from him.
My site has now been down for almost a week. I didn't want to restore a backup because then I would lose the work we had spent a week on, but now I'm going to have to, the final result being that I will not have achieved my initial goal and will have lost 2 weeks of time on this project.
