I've been considering a membership to elegant themes for a long time but I've been using WordPress for nearly a decade and never paid for a theme in my life (before that I used Moveable Type and switched to WP when MT started charging). I made it a point of pride to do all the custom theming myself using free themes but boy, was I tempted by the gorgeousness that is Elegant Themes.
When they launched
Divi I decided it was time to take the leap and plunk down my (totally reasonable) $39. As I worked to customize the theme I went back and forth to the support forums reading the responses to other people who were working on similar customizations. With very little trial and error, I gave the site the look I wanted and when I ran into a problem I posted my own question. I got a response within minutes, which absolutely fixed my small issue.
I am very impressed with my experience with Elegant Themes thus far and am now a convert.
