All of our themes have been localized for easy translation. Included with each theme are sets of .mo and .po files that can be used to translate the theme, which means you wont have to spend hours searching through PHP files for English words.

Translate Your Theme In Minutes

Localization or Internalization is a method used by WordPress to allow for the easy translation. Although WordPress displays in English by default, the software has the capability to be used in any language. In order for a themes to be easily translated using the same method, they must also be localized. When you download a theme from ElegantThemes, you will notice that a /lang folder has been added to the theme. This folder contains .mo and .po files that can be opened and edited. Instead of hunting through dozens of PHP files and thousands of lines of code for miscellaneous English words that need translating, you can just open these localization files where every word has been collected and organized. With only a few minutes of work, each of our themes can be translated into any language you want.
