As you probably we know, we are hard at work on eStore. But that’s not the only thing cooking behind the scenes at ElegantThemes. Here is a little preview of a design we are working on called TheProfessional. This theme will feature a very clean and minimal layout with a homepage that is stripped down and “to the point.” For those looking for a great page-based design that is uncluttered and professional, this is the theme for you!

Honestly, I stopped using Elegant Themes & Woo-Themes.
ThemForest has done some incredible stuff to their themes. The thing you and Woo-THemes are missing are Shortcodes.
Here is a theme Im using that has a ton of cool shortcodes that allows me to do some awesome creative design work without all the headeache.

We will be adding shortcodes and page templates to all themes in the near future.

They add so much value to a theme and I couldn’t imagine having a theme without them.
Can anyone say more why “short codes” are important, or what they are for those of us who don’t know.
But I am still staying with ET. Really happy with my designs.

What is a shortcode?
A shortcode is a WordPress-specific code that lets you do nifty things with very little effort. Shortcodes can embed files or create objects that would normally require lots of complicated, ugly code in just one line. Shortcode = shortcut.

I am also very happy with Elegant Themes, but would surely welcome the addition in ShortCodes.

There’s alot of themes on themeforest but not other providers like woothemes and elegantthemes of course.
Checked it out Emil, but the advantages here — much easier to check out, more detailed description of what you’re getting and they look great.
Found themeforest to be dense and brutal; checked out a few but realized I don’t have the time; it was like looking for a needle in a haystack.
I’ll be opting for the solid quality here and willing to wait for the short code feature. Nice to know Nick will be adding some of those.
I love the simplicity, clarity, and ease of use of the elegantthemes site.
But, to each their own —thanks for sharing.

Elegant themes constant improvement in both function and style is allowing us to develop several of our new concepts for web on the wp platform. While our largest sites still our ground up programs, our new site VitaHound.com is getting allot praise for its appearance, using the MYPRODUCT theme. It would be wonderful if the staff at Elegant themes would post a list of sites using their themes.

Ok, I’m going to be the first to say it, and I know everyone wishes I would ignore the gorilla in the chat room. “Elegant Themes should be charging more for the yearly account”. There I said it, hopefully existing customer will get a lifelong discount or least the ones making these loving comments.
