Theme Sneak Peek: Glow
For those of you who celebrate Christmas, I hope you had a pleasant holiday. I have been enjoying a few days of great food and family time, but I have also done some preliminary work on a new design. I know that this isn’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea, and maybe some of you are tried of purple, but I guess I still need to get it out of my system! This is a fairly “flashy” design, much more so than usual – it must be the plethora of Christmas lights that I see every night, or maybe the Christmas spirit just has me in a sparkling kind of mood. The design is called “Glow,” and it is only in the very beginning stages of development. This means that it could change a bit before it is released, I am not sure, but I know some of you like to get an idea of what is going on behind the scenes, so here you go:

Looks very nice. All of your themes do by the way! As SiGa said keep track on the purple. I like black, blue and green more but I think this one is again multi color?

Well, I do have 19 themes, and only 2 of them contain purple, and one of those two has alternate color schemes. So, I don’t think my use of the color is too excessive (1/19). There will probably be alternate color schemes anyway, though.

I did mean it in a positive way! The theme looks cool but don’t focus on one color. The last purple theme is not so very old. So when I saw this I was thinking you went purple or something!

Perfect theme, i guess that you have used scroll Carousel on the top for articles? it will be perfect for my web design portfolio, Looking forward to see it in Blue and Grey color options.

The theme design is nice but I’m still waiting on a nice theme for a movie site. eVid is too minimal for my needs. I want something that is hollywoodish.

Do you ever intend to create a theme that isn’t image based or magazine style? A text based blog theme

You need to raise your prices man! I just bought membership. Your stuff is awesome. I think you should price at $99/year for membership and $14.97 a theme.
Especially now that you are offering more support for your old themes, the new price is justified.
Usually people who price too low for quality all of a sudden overprice their stuff to compensate. Please don’t fall into that trap like activecollab.

Here is one quick idea I think that would really help the functionality of the theme…
Can you make an option in the back office where you can change the “recent post” section to be 1 long horizontal post on the home page, instead of 2 smaller columns?
I mean def keep the current option, but I would really like the 1 longer horizontal option since you can see more of the article title that way…

This theme has not been released yet, this is merely a “sneak-peek” as the title suggests.
As much as I love the “glow” look of Coldstone, I still want the real Glow! It’s an awesome design.
Anxiously waiting for this theme! Any updates on progress/timetable of release?
I’m very glad I purchased an account on this page, the themes are excellent man and so is the theme support as I can tell from the constante updates.
