Theme Update: WhosWho

I have added several features to Who’sWho, as well as removed a few, from the custom theme options page. First off I have removed the control over the stylesheet (font color, size, family, etc). My reason for this is that is requires PHP to have safe mode turned off, which many shared hosts don’t like. I also felt that the control it gave you wasn’t enough to actually warent the trouble. Anyone looking to change these basic colors...

New Domain Name

I switched from elegantwordpressthemes.com to elegantthemes.com due to WordPress trademark issues. Hopefully this will be a smooth transition, but if you guys see any errors around the site let me know. I have setup a redirect, so everything should function correctly. If you are affiliate I would still recommend updating your links with the new domain, I have sent out an email regarding this as well.

New Theme: Cion

I have finished another theme today entitled “Cion” (I don’t know why it’s called Cion, it just sounded cool). I wanted to create a more traditional style blog layout while maintaining a “hip” feel. New Theme: eGallery

I have finished another theme today entitled elegant gallery, or “eGallery.” A common habbit of mine is to browse online gallery websites like: BestWebGallery, CSSmania, CSSremix, etc. It’s a great way to keep up on the latest trends and to find that createive spark needed to jumpstart your own designs. I was having trouble focusing on a good idea this week, and after several sketches, I started looking at the gallery websites themselves...

Theme Change: StudioBlue, Influx, GrungeMag

I have been trying to help a few individuals that were having problems getting thumbnails to appear on the above themes. After trying to figure out the problem for some time I decided that it would be easier just to abandon the timthumb php image re-sizer altogether in favor of a different script. I have updated StudioBlue, Influx, and Grungemag with this new script, and it seems to have fixed the problem for the members I was in contact with. Anyone...

New Theme: GrungeMag

I finished another theme today. When I was creating my previous theme, Influx, I had a lot of fun with its “grunge” skin. I have also recently had a lot of requests for more magazine-style themes.  So, I decided to combine the two and create GrungeMag, a grungy magazine-style design! You will see that I have added a dropdown menu to both the categories and the pages navigation menus. (I have had a lot of requests for this as well) I also...
