I just wanted to give everyone at update on our current status. I realize that it has been a log time since our last theme sneak peek, and that development has seemed to have come to halt. This couldn’t be further from the truth! In fact, we have been working harder than ever this past month on important theme improvements and bug fixes, especially as they pertain to the recent Timthumb vulnerability. Serving our current user base is much more important to us than trying to get new customers, and when you perform an important update and urge 80,000 people to upgrade their themes, it is important to follow through and make sure everyone’s site is running smoothly. We took a break from working on new themes last month, and focused solely on improving our current collection. I realize that these updates are not as fun and exciting as the creation of new themes, but every once in a while we need to forgo excitement, put our heads down and work hard in the nitty-gritty!

More recently, we have been hard at work on HandHeld, our mobile theme, which is getting very close to completion. On top of that, we have some awesome themes in the production pipeline, and I will be sure to post some great sneak peeks this week! From here on out, you can expect ElegantThemes to be back on track with the theme release frequency that you have come to expect

Thanks to everyone who participated in the WP Candy theme madness competition. It was a lot of fun to see the various companies compete, and it was especially satisfying to see the Elegant Themes community pull together and take home the gold! My favorite part about running this website has always been watching our community grow, and this was a great opportunity to see just how far we have come. Anyway, enough reflection…time to get back to work! Stay tuned for more awesome themes
